The Story
Behind the Smile
My name is Nestor Castellon, and I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor. Like all of God’s children, we all have different stories and are called to serve one another using our gifts. My own personal story is the inspiration behind why I serve the hearts and minds in our South Florida community.
At the age of 5 years old, I was diagnosed with ADHD (Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder) and Dyslexia. My learning disabilities made life at school challenging, at times made me feel anxious and made it more difficult to learn compared to the average kid. However, I didn't let that stop me from trying even harder to succeed and overcome my challenges. In fact, I started to turn my greatest weaknesses into strengths with the help of my wonderful support system of teachers, family members, counselors and my faith in God’s purpose for my life.
Truly without their practical guidance and wisdom, I would not be where I am today. God has often worked through other people in my life to help me reach beyond what I thought possible, and I would love to be that person in your corner of support. That is what God has called me to do in my life. I will guide you and help you during the tough moments of life and provide you with the therapeutic tools to succeed.
